Oscar?

I can't see a recent thread about this and just wanted some honest opinions. I know it's top 10 but I haven't met many and wondered if it would be a trendy choice and to be avoided.

Love Oscar. 😊

I don't think it's trendy. More popular at the moment than at any other point in recent history, but it's not an unheard of name prior to now. It didn't seem to do Oscar Wilde any damage and he's a great namesake.

I quite like it. There are a few in my classes.
Nice name, I would go for it.

I love Oscar. It's our son's middle name (after my grandfather) Smile

I have one! We often stick -poo -pants or -poscles on the end Grin

He loves it, it is easy to spell - for him and for our families (we are abroad, DH is forrin, everyone had to be able to spell it).

He is 5yo, we are in Spain, we don't know any others - in tne UK either. All of my UK friends have Olivers, Charlies and Joshuas. And one Angus.

I know a lot of Oscars. It seems quite a common name now.
