Baby names

A sister for Rebecca and Naomi

We're delighted to be having another girl but struggling slightly with names! I'm not too bothered about the sibling names going together but it gives an idea of the kind of names we like.

I have a list but nothing is grabbing me really -

Zoe
Nina (too close to Naomi?)
Tamsin
Juliet
Freya
Anna

I love Sara but annoyingly can't use it. Same with Ruth.

Any opinions/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Lovely names. I agree nina sounds like a pet name for Naomi (or, it could be)

I love Anna, what about Susannah is a bible name too so, it seems to go better with Naomi and Rebecca. I like Juliet too but Susannah goes better with Naomi and Rebecca

I love Juliet.
How about Amelia, Elizabeth or Briony?

Susannah is my mum's name Grin not sure I could get into the family politics of naming after people.

It's just occurred to me that we actually never really call Naomi her full name. She is normally Nomi so Nina is definitely out.

This might be a bit out there, but I really love Farah

I like Serena. Elizabeth is maybe a bit too royal. Nice though.

Of your list, Tamsin is my favourite to go with your other names. Followed closely by Juliet.
Other suggestions which seem along the same lines would be Erin, seren, Serena, Abigail, Esther, Gemma, Taryn.
I agree Nina, although a lovely name is too close to Naomi.

I think Laura would go well with these names, not sure why!

Abigail is a favourite of mine
Sophia

Rachel or Ruth

A lot of the girls at my school were called Laura and Claire so they feel a bit dated to me. Same could be said for Rebecca though!

Abigale is lovely but it's the name of a close family member so we can't use it.

Esther has been vetoed by dp, too biblical he says. Not sure where he thinks Rebecca and Naomi originate from Grin

I like Martha but it is a family name too.

Rachel is nice and definitely fits in with the other names but I feel like know a lot of them and not always with good associations.
