Has anyone ever heard the girls name 'Runa' before? I really like it. I believe it's Norwegian and means 'secret, flowing' I'm thinking this or something similar if baby is a girl. Anyone have any opinions/other suggestions? X

Never heard of it but it doesn't sound made up. I would imagine someone called runa to have a good story behind their name.

I like it.

It immediately reminded me of rune stones, it's probably not related but I suppose rune isn't heard often so some will make the link. (Not a bad thing in my opinion, but worth flagging in case you dislike the association)

Thank you Curls Rune is apparently the masculine form of Runa.

I knew a Rune (male, Danish), but wasn't aware of a female version.
I don't love it - but roo-roo/noo-noo could be quite cute nns when she's little
