What do you think of the name Hallie?

What do you think of the name Hallie? Do you think it is a pretty name? I really love it but after looking at so many girls names they are all blending into one now!

Do you think it would be viewed negatively in any way?

Thanks in advance! :)

Hallie to rhyme with Sally? I like it!

Bazoo23 · 01/02/2017 18:17

My goddaughter is a Hallie, she's just turned two. It's a beautiful name but is slowly becoming more common (work in a maternity unit).

TessTackle · 01/02/2017 18:17

My DD is Hallie, I love it! (Obviously Wink )
We've never had anything but positive comments.

Is it Hallie like Sally or an alternative spelling of Hayleigh?

Mumtobe137 · 01/02/2017 18:19

Halle is the spelling though I think?

KlingybunFistelvase · 01/02/2017 18:30

I don't like it (Halle or Hallie). It's just not a very nice sound to me. Reminds me of halitosis!

Chocolatecake12 · 01/02/2017 18:31

I love it.

EssentialHummus · 01/02/2017 18:31

I'd assumed you'd misspelled Halle.

Danglybits · 01/02/2017 18:31

Pretty, and I prefer Hallie to Halle.

buttercup54321 · 01/02/2017 18:33

Come on Halitosis!!!!

ThatsPlenty · 01/02/2017 18:35

Love it! Like Halle Berry

busyrascal · 01/02/2017 20:56

I would misspell it as I would assume it was the same as Halle Berry

Sophronia · 02/02/2017 17:27

My cousin has a Hallie. I think it's sweet. It seems a bit nicknamey though because of the -ie. ending. I think it was originally a nn for Harriet.

winniemcgoogan · 18/02/2017 20:02

i love it i like the other spelling as well like halleys comet. i like the hebrew meaning praise like halleujah praise the lord. 😊 im due my rainbow baby soon in april and i have this on my fave list

EggsEleven · 18/02/2017 22:03

I prefer it spelt Halle.

reuset · 18/02/2017 22:28

It sounds like a nick name

I prefer it spelt Halle

Like the orchestra.

SovietKitsch · 18/02/2017 23:21

It's a bit American sounding for me

GreenTrafficLights · 18/02/2017 23:25

It makes me think of The Parent Trap movie and Halle Berry. It's quite American sounding and I think it's association with Hayley makes it sound a bit dated to me.
