Given that Friends is almost permanently on somewhere all over the world I'd probably avoid Chandler. I'm not too keen on the others you have, my favourite is Fraser.

I like Jasper best of those four, as well as Alexander, Oliver, Peter, Victor and Christopher from the other suggestions.

Many occupation surnames used as first names end in "er" as mentioned above. Carter, Archer, Fletcher, Miller, Hunter, Baxter.

Also Tyger, Xander, Leander, Caspar/Casper, Gregor, Elmer, Collier, Ezra.

I like Fraser - not too popular, but not unheard of, and people would know how to say and spell the name.
I was trying to sell my Husband on Chandler, but he can't shake off the Friends association, and I suppose lots of people would associate it with the character from Friends....however if you really like the name, then use it. I think people would forget the association once they got to know your child.

I know a baby Chester and he is the cutest, cheekiest little boy!
Wasn't keen when I first heard it but it suits him perfectly and has since grown on me.

I like Fraser from your list too. I also like Victor. I know a Victor and he is a fantastic person, very loyal and looks out for his friends. He now has 4 gorgeous little girls f his own! The name has good connotations for me.

I like Fraser. In fact we have a Fraser Smile Be aware that people do misspell it though - as Frazer or even Frasier (which is pronounced differently too).

Thank you ladies lots to look at... Victor is a family name on dh side too!
I think the reason I like names with Er sound is that my ds ends in on so it seems nice to have an alternative
Of course there are other alternatives too!
