Skye. I generally prefer names that are short.

I prefer Maddison, although Skye's nice as well. Would you consider Madison (1 d) instead?

Keep either and see which suits her best when she arrives

Oh unless she already has, in which case I can see your dilemma!

But I prefer the spelling Madison.

Skye. I know of at least half a dozen Maddison/Madisons which would put me off, plus I just prefer the name Skye.

Plus, Maddison means son of Maud, I think.

The meaning wouldn't put me off but it wouldn't make me like the name either...

Skye is nice, crisp and short and not overused. 👍

I prefer Skye. Maddison is a bit harder sounding.

Maddison is awful sorry. Madison is slightly better.
A bit like Alison.

Both pretty bad to be honest.

Skye for sure. I love the shortness and simplicity. Maddison is WAY overused.

Skye.

Madison is only seen as a girl's name now because it was used as a joke in the 80s film Splash.
