Skye. I generally prefer names that are short.

I prefer Maddison, although Skye's nice as well. Would you consider Madison (1 d) instead?

Keep either and see which suits her best when she arrives

Sweets101 Sun 01-Jan-17 00:40:56

Oh unless she already has, in which case I can see your dilemma!

But I prefer the spelling Madison.

Skye - Paw patrol factor

Skye smile!
I don't really like Maddison, tbh.

Sugarpiehoneyeye Sun 01-Jan-17 10:36:09

Skye, I don't like Maddison either.

Alorsmum Sun 01-Jan-17 10:39:11

Not a fan of either at all sorry, Too common.
If I had to choose would go for Skye

BigMamaFratelli Sun 01-Jan-17 10:43:58

Skye. I know of at least half a dozen Maddison/Madisons which would put me off, plus I just prefer the name Skye.

1horatio Sun 01-Jan-17 12:13:17

Plus, Maddison means son of Maud, I think.

The meaning wouldn't put me off but it wouldn't make me like the name either...

Skye is nice, crisp and short and not overused. 👍

ViewBasket Sun 01-Jan-17 12:48:17

I prefer Skye. Maddison is a bit harder sounding.

MikeUniformMike Sun 01-Jan-17 13:08:23

Maddison is awful sorry. Madison is slightly better.
A bit like Alison.

Both pretty bad to be honest.

Aquamarine1029 Sun 01-Jan-17 22:51:56

Skye for sure. I love the shortness and simplicity. Maddison is WAY overused.

But if you like madison then spell it with one D

bookworm14 Tue 03-Jan-17 07:32:55

Madison is only seen as a girl's name now because it was used as a joke in the 80s film Splash.
