OK as long as you don't mind Billie and don't give a middle name begining with J, (yes, happened to a family member).

No - but like Billie.

Oh I like it, plus. There are plenty of nn options.
Belle
Bella
Lin
Linnie
Lindy.
I wouldn't have thought of Billie as a nn, tbh.

Love it.

Yes yes yes. Love Belinda. Please use it, or Tabitha?

I don't like it.

I also think Billie is a standalone name, or a nickname for Wilhelmina, not a nickname for Belinda.

Bel is the nickname for the Belinda I know.

theres a very popular podcast (and book) featuring a Belinda currently.

I was at school with a Belinda, her nickname was Bim.

I like it. I was at school with a Belinda and her nickname was Bellie - cruel as children are, and she was the only chubby 11 year old in 1980 in our year.

The Belinda I knew at school got called a'Belinda bell end' for years.
Barbara?

A girl at school was always teased as Belinda-the-bell-end.

AmberEars · 31/12/2016 08:26

Just remembered that the Belinda I was at school with also got called Bimbo!

'Belinda' sounds massively dated to me - there's nothing wrong with it as such, it's just very 80s and hasn't had the chance to get its second wind yet.

'Billie' is HORRID. Because I'm a bit slow, it took me ages to realise that the utterly gorgeous Billie Lourd is Carrie Fisher's daughter. Probably because I refuse to accept that anyone can name a child 'Billie'.

Yes like it. So many nick names as PP has said

Billie is a cute nickname, I love it.

Belinda is absolutely lovely and Wilhelmina is simply fabulous, I also like Wilma :)

I've never known one, but I'm fairly certain she'd have been called bellend if I had.
