Hmmm. I do know a Remi- as a name I like it. However at school it was a rather unpleasant nickname for what was then the remedial set. That was a million years ago though!

I like it. I called my puppy remi. I see Remy as more of a boys name, however Remy Ma the rapper spells hers like that.

I like it. Prefer the Remy spelling for a boy. As its origins mean "oarsman", I picture a strong-minded, sporty rower...(though, who knows? Could just as easily suit someone shy and studious!).

Just out of interest, do you have French family connections, or do you simply like the name?

Oh, I was a out to ask if you were French. As you are, then Yes! A friend of mine called her son Remi (they aren't French) and I that that was a bit pretentious.
