Which girl's name?

Penelope, Robyn or Elise?

Current top 3. Siblings are Noah, Sophia & Chloe (I know the all have O in them but that's coincidence!). Will be Luca if it's a boy.

Would Robyn get called Rob/Robbie? I'd hate that! Would Elise become Ellie?

Also toyed with Isabelle (which I adore but HATE izzie), Lara, Poppy, Amaya, Posy and Alyssa/Alessia.

I like Robyn but not sure whether it's a match for your other children, if that matters.

Out of all the names you've listed I like Poppy. I really like Lara but think it's a bit of a clash with Noah.

I like Elise myself, I don't see it being nn to Ellie, it will probably stay as Elise or a non name like leece by friends later on

I do know an Isabelle who is known as Belle if that helps?

Penelope by a million miles.

I don't like Robyn at all. The only Robyn I know is now in her 80s, lives off Chinese takeaway, and spends her day sitting in front of her TV watching soaps while complaining about her weight. She's awful.

Elise is okay, but very bland.

Robyn wouldn't get Rob/Robbie, nor would Elise get Ellie, because they're both very short names in their full form. Penelope is the one that'll likely be shortened.

I like Alessia from your other list. It goes well with Sophia as both are Italian in origin.

Robyn is wonderful plus it fits with the 'O' theme

You have two of my favourite names!!!

Penelope. Penny for short.

Noah, Chloe, Sophia and Penny

Elise, dislike the other two.

I don't like any of them. Lara is ok I suppose

Penelope or Elise work best in my opinion. I don't really care for Robyn and it feels a lot more androgynous than your other girls' names.

Personally, I think Posy is very pretty and underused and would work really well with her big brother and sisters' names. It has that long "o" sound again without feeling matchy or repetitive.

Penelope is great, unusually but classic with lots of diminutives.

They're all lovely suggestions, please don't worry about them 'matching' that's crazy! They're all random names. When shortening names people will only shorten them as to what family shorten them too, I love Bella as an attentive for Isabella. I wanted just Bella but the surname for our baby begins with an O so that's BO and a big fat no hehe.

All fine names! I don' think you can go wrong with any of them. If you don't like Rob as a shortening then maybe not Robyn. Penelope has more nn potential than Elise, so I'd go with Penelope.

Penelope is lovely but it will become Penny (I like Penny but you may not).
Robyn - no. It's a bit try hard - you can stick a y in to make it seem less of a boy's name, but most people will still think it's a boy's name.
Elise is really nice - I like that lots.

I've never paid attention to whether names go together - siblings' names always go together, just because they're siblings.

Elise Smile I may or may not be biased though.

It never gets shortened to Ellie. Just "Leecy" by under threes.

From your top 3, Elise. From your wider list I prefer Lara.

Elise probably sounds best with your other children's names however I'm not of the opinion that they all need to match Smile

I like Robyn a lot, neither of the two I know have their names shortened either.

Suggestion: Elena? I recently met an Elena who pronounces her name Eh-layna and thought it was super pretty.

Elise is gorgeous. I also like it as a shortening for Elisabeth / Elizabeth ( Elise is the French version).
I like Penelope as well. Love Penny for short.
Dislike Robyn.
Love Alyssa as I like the softness of ' lissy."
How about Alice? It would work well with Sophia and Chloe.
I like Posy but prefer it as a nickname for Josephine.

I love Penelope but none of the nicknames. I just love the name in full.

How about Lana?
