Cool boys nicknames

Hi
Our baby boy is a few days old but still nameless. I think he's pretty cool, as do his siblings, so would love to give him a cool name with a longer formal name.

So far have thought of Ace (Wallace or Horace), Rocky (Rocco or Rockwell). Still not totally in love with either so any suggestions welcome!

Nate (Nathaniel or Jonathan)

Art (Arthur)

Zee (Isiah or Isaac)

Oh god why? Just give the poor kid a nice name that won't get him bullied! Wallace and Rockwell? Are you off your rocker?

I love Wallace. Ace is terrible though.

What about two names that make an initial nickname for when he is little - like 'TJ'?

I like Kit too - short for Christopher

DH is a 34 year old Christopher/Kit. It was horribly unpopular when he was a kid!

I like the suggestion of Arthur shortened to Art.

Baby Art sounds great and I can imagine it suiting a teen and a man too.

No more Kits! They're everywhere.

Give him a proper name and let his mates decide his nickname when he starts school. Why would you try to decide your child's nickname at this stage? Confused

Thank you for all those with helpful suggestions

I like initials for boys. Usually something then J : AJ, DJ, LJ etc. Does that work?

I also like Ace but don't like either of your longer names, what about Asa with Ace for short?

Rudyard nn Rudy
