Ivy

To me Ivy is still an old ladies name and Remy is a drink. How about Romy?

Well I have an Ivy so I obviously love it. I think its pretty without being too princessy. But I have seen it mentioned in here loads recently so if you want to be different go for Remy.

Ivy.
Remy sounds like a bottle of cough syrup.

Ivy. Remy is a boys name, I prefer Romy for a girl.

I know two men called Remy. (Well, in one case it's a nickname for Remigius)

I don't particularly like Ivy. But it certainly isn't a "bad" name, it's actually kind of cute imo :)

If you change it to Romy I would choose that otherwise, Ivy.
Remy is a boys name.

SausageSoda · 10/11/2016 22:40

Ivy is lovely. Remy/Remi for a girl is not.

Ivy is beautiful.

Remy for some reason makes me think of a penis.

None. but. As you're asking Ivy. Remy sounds like an indegestion tablet.

Isn't Remy the rat from ratatouille? I'd go with Ivy. That's really pretty.

ILoveAutumnLeaves · 11/11/2016 00:31

Neither.

Sorry Joinourclub 💐 In my defence, I don't like any of the 'flower names' except Daisy.

Ivy, by a million miles.

Remy is definitely a boy's name.

Report
MadameSilva · 11/11/2016 11:54

Yes, Ivy is becoming more popular. I've not checked but I think it's in the top 40 now. I know two amongst my acquaintances and have come across a couple at playgroups.
