Kate Lynn or Kate Lynne?

Hiya. We adore the name Kate. Also like Caitlin. Prefer Kate though so we are going for Kate with Lynn(e) in the middle. That's definitely decided.

However, which spelling???

Friend if dds is Katelyn

Dd has two frost names like
Kate Lynn.

The Lynn has been dropped

It'll be a middle name though? I'm not going to necessarily use both! I might say then together a couple of times but she'll be Kate

Does it really make any difference?

Not really no but I suppose I'd like to decode... it's like Faye or Fay, it doesn't make a difference but you still need to decide ConfusedConfused

Flip a coin. I guess I'd go with Lynn cos it looks more like the real version.

You could have Caitlin and shorten it to Kate, if you wanted.

I second Caitlin.

We have decided against Caitlin.

Kate Lynn although Kate Lynne does have a really nice edge to it

dont, why are you implying this is a creative spelling? We are using Kate as a first name and then Lynn/Lynne as a middle name Hmm

It sounds like Caitlin so will be confusing when she has to tell people her full name for things. Both nice names though. I only know a Lynne so I'd guess with the e.

Are you using Katherine as the birth cert first name?
That would give you Kate as a nickname, and then people wouldn't be so quick to turn the whole thing into Katelyn/Caitlin.

I would use Lynn as the MN spelling.

Lynne.

I'm a Lynn so I go with that one.
