Does it sound okay? We are not Spanish, but we are living in Spain.

are you going to be living there forever? If not, it seems a bit strong. So many lovely spanish male names that travel a bit better. e.g. Javier, Ruben

I think Diego travels well! We will be living here forever (well, plan to).

Oakley is surname btw

I love it. It'll travel fine, I think.

I don't think there's anything wrong at all with Diego but I don't think it goes with your surname very well because of the double Oh sound

I agree with SoupDragon. I would say that the O to O sound is a bit clunky. (not a massive deal but worth pointing out)

Having said that, all the best Spanish names end in O, so you'd be a bit screwed if you ruled them all out.

I think it's a great name but I agree with SoupDragon that the two O sounds together are awkward.

Love Diego, but agree that it's a bit clunky with Oakley.
