Edmund?

Opinions? It reminds me of magic, etc. (Narnia) which I love!

The only other 'Ed' name, that I like, is Edward. Is that better? :)

Other 'magic' names, to me, are names like Phoenix, Griffin, Robin, etc.

Any other suggestions?

Love it. It's unusual without being too 'out there'. If I had another DS it would be on my list Smile

Love the name and the Narnia reference

I thought of Narnia too.

How about Eddison?

I thought blackadder as well, but I am of a certain age.

Edmund in King Lear is the baddie , as is the one in Narnia, but it's a great name.

I thought Narnia as well. Edmund is a weak character in Narnia which puts me off the name. But if you like it, go for it.

I think Edmund is really nice. I also really like Edgar and Edison but not so keen on Edward

King Lear for me too; it's a no.

You're wrong about Narnia - Edmund has the best character development through the whole series.

None of the Edmunds I know is bothered by the Blackadder thing

But I like Anglo-Saxon names anyway

HapShawl, I totally agree about Edmund's development , far more interesting and thought-provoking than any other in the books, but children do see him as the baddie.

Its a lovely name. I doubt that many playground taunts will arise from fellow pupils knowledge of King Lear, or Blackadder tbh. The Edmund in Narnia came good.

Edward is ok too.

You only know that about Edmund if you read the whole series, which most people won't.

It's a bit try-hard for me.
