Chinlo Fri 21-Oct-16 16:37:33

BadToTheBone Fri 21-Oct-16 16:45:33

I mean, why would it be bad?

BackforGood Fri 21-Oct-16 16:46:11

I, too, have come on to find out what might be wrong with it confused

(I suppose unless you are giving Hugh, Ian as middle names? wink

elvisola Fri 21-Oct-16 16:46:27

Mine are ST. I'm 41 and never, ever has anybody commented on them.

GoofyTheHero Fri 21-Oct-16 16:46:44

Err... what could possibly be bad about it?

Marshmallow92 Fri 21-Oct-16 16:52:41

Mine are ST, never had any remark made. I'm assuming you're thinking because of saint?

sailawaywithme Fri 21-Oct-16 18:22:23

ST were my initials before I married...never occurred to me or anyone else that there was any issue!

Dilligufdarling Fri 21-Oct-16 18:48:17

Only thing I can think of is Sanitary Towell? Bit tenuous though!

UpsyDaisy123 Fri 21-Oct-16 19:06:08

Yes, sanitary towel. Does nobody else call them STs?

STs = sanitary towels? Never heard that before. Sounds like something my guide leader might have said smile.

FuckThatToOneSide Fri 21-Oct-16 19:24:14

Ugh that was meant to be a grin not a smile. Looks like I have really fond memories of my guide leader (I do not). She was a nice lady and all, but not whistful smile worthy!

BackforGood Fri 21-Oct-16 21:51:16

No. That's just you.

SansasEscape Sat 22-Oct-16 00:04:17

I've never heard sanitary towels as STs. Ever.

Creatureofthenight Sat 22-Oct-16 00:10:58

Only time I've ever seen them called STs was in a B&B on the Isle of Wight!
I think you're ok with these initials.

My first thought was a Ford ST, a sports performance car but I live in a house full of car mad males! Sanitary towels wouldn't enter my head.

I would never have made a connection with initials ST! Definitely not an issue!

nennyrainbow Sat 22-Oct-16 18:27:56

The only person I have ever heard refer to sanitary towels as STs was my mother who would have been 75 this year. I think people stopped calling them that in the 1960s so you should be fine with those initials now!
