I quite like it. Classic Scottish name. Prefer Kenneth to Ken or Kenny though.

Oh please OP, NO !
How about Kenzie, or Mackenzie ?
Sorry, but It's awful, only suitable for a second name.

Ilovenannyplum · 07/10/2016 19:43

Don't do it OP

Saucery · 07/10/2016 19:45

No. I do know a teenage one but unfortunately he is doing nothing to promote the revival of the name as he is horrid.

Kenzie/mcKenzie are A bit common too. Ok for mixed breed dogs but for children.......nah. In fact my iPad tried to autocorrect Kenzie to Menzies, so it is obvs as snobby as I am.

Kenneth's not great, but Kenzie is a million times worse.

What's the frequency.......?

My baby nephew is a Kenneth. I can't say I love it. I just sing what's the frequency Kenneth at my brother as it was my first reaction & has stuck in my head. Considering some of the names that were supposedly on the shortlist Kenneth is a blessing.

I quite like it, but there is one I particularly dislike. He's in his 70s, though.

What about Kendrick? The now famous rapper seems to work it pretty well.

Nope, reminds me of 1970s smelly farty uncles drinking Tennents lager, leering at pre-teen cousins while making remarks about the scantily clad ladies on the beer cans. Just grim.
disclaimer this may just be my family tho Wink

I love it! Excellent and underused.Shortens nicely to Ken. Definitely due for revival. Im a bit biased because I have a lovely ex called Kenneth.

Not for me. My GDads brother was called Kenneth, so always reminds me of an old man. I have known younger Keith's though.

Even though it's obv MY name- just no. Don't be daft.

I know a very cool Kenneth/Ken who suits his name. He's of Chinese descent. I know another very UNCOOL Kenneth... whose name also suits him.
