What do you think? Gorgeous boy of my cousin who can't totally decide.

It's not bad, but I will always picture Ralph Wiggum in my mind when I hear it.

Raphael is nicer, IMO.

Raphael is incredibly popular were we live. In every cafe it's "Raffy eat your avocado"

Grin

Maybe not Raphael then! I don't mind Ralph, I just can't manage to get past The Simpsons.

I've seen others mention Rafe on here, but 1) Still not sure how to pronounce that, and 2) It looks like a typo for "rape", which is very grim.

If she likes Ralph, she should go with that. Smile

I wanted a Ralph but dp vetoed on the basis of Wiggum.

I know a little Ralph. It suits him. Initially I though 'wiggum' but you can say that for so many names, it's about making it your own. I certainly don't think that whenever I see this little boy.

we settled on Wilf in the end which has a similar sound to it, but I was compromising. Ralph is a cracking name.

Which pronounciation, Rafe or Ralf?

Ralph still reminds me of Judy Blume's book, forever... Blush

I love it but I would pronounce it Rafe. I think some people say Ralf so you'd have to be prepared for correcting!

Why is it pronounced rafe?

I've only ever heard Ralph pronounced as Ralf. Sometimes even spelt as Ralf.

Rafe is a different name or maybe a nickname for Rafael?

I like Ralph.
