Which do you prefer? Middle name i think William.

Plus are there any good nn's for Arthur apart from Art/Artie? Or just stick with Arthur?

I think Arthur has peaked.
I prefer Joseph but would call him Joe.

Hard to choose but I think I'd probably go with Joseph.

What about both as in Arthur Joseph?

Love Arthur.

Ooh, I love both.

It depends whether you like Art or Joe more as a nickname, because they'll get shortened (certainly Joseph will, anyway). I actually don't have a preference.

And they both sound great with William

(No help, sorry!)

I prefer Joseph

Arthur is nice too but very 'now'. I know at least half a dozen Arthur born in the past 7 years.

Joseph is more of a timeless classic IMO

Joseph is a nice classic name. Arthur is a more trend name. Not keen on Arthur at all.

I went to school with an Arthur his every day was made miserable because of his name, funny how times change

Joseph William is fab

Absolutely dement; our Joseph is only allowed to b called Jo Jo by us. I actually don't like him being called Joe

Report
NuffSaidSam · 30/09/2016 23:59

I actually prefer Arthur, but would go with Joseph just because Arthur is so 'on trend' at the moment.

I prefer William to both of those though. I'd go with William Arthur.

We have a Joseph William. We call him Jofish as his youngest older sister couldn't pronounce Joseph.

Love both! Slightly preferring Joseph though as more long lasting and less 'faddy'

Love Joseph. Really dislike Arthur but that's just my opinion.
