It's Walt Disney's middle name, but there I'm pretty sure it's pronounced E-lie-us.

Elias - can be pronounced either way - but in England it is E-Lie-Us and in the meditteranean/middle east it is pronounced El-i-yus.

It is a beautiful name with a beautiful meaning (the Lord is my God). It is the Greek for Elijah.

I like it. It can be pronounced phonetically as El-i-as (as in German speaking and other countries) or the as El-ie-as. I actually prefer the first version (think that's what the op means).
