Struggling with boy's names

Hi everyone!

Myself and DH are really struggling for boy's names. It's our first DC and we have a few really good girls names already thought of.

We have a few boy names in a shortlist but none of them are shouting at us.

I think I am desperately picky, and our name is double barrelled and long so it probably needs to be fairly short.

These are the ones we've thought of so far:
Oran
Rory
Rowan
Hamish

Any other ideas? We are partial to a bit of Celtic but those are our fave after looking at about 500 of them Confused

TIA! Smile

From your list I like Rory.
How about, Rex, Leon, Max or Jon.

I do love Rowan from your list!

Thanks all for the ideas! It's so hard finding one that both me and DH think "ooh" about at the same time.

I'm also struggling to find a boys name but like short names. My list includes Scott, Guy, Owen, Todd, Ryan, Brad, Rufus, Rafa, Evan, Jake, Zane and Ralph.

Ps also love Max and Benjamin as a classic name but both already used in our immediate families

Love Rory. How about Jory - similar but a bit more unusual? It's the Cornish form of George I believe. Or maybe Osian? Soren? Gaetan?

I have a Jax and a Harley, we are trying for baby 3 (our last, sob!) and are going to be really stuck on names if we have a third boy!
