Desperately trying to settle on a name, hubby loves Vincent, I've had final say on the last four names we've chosen (cos he's nice like that) ! He's liked Vincent for a long time, but I'm just not sure of how I feel about the name.. Is it too stuffy / dull?!
Would appreciate opinions / suggestions,
Thank you :)

Vincent from Pulp Fiction?

Very good manners. Polite. And his dancing was the balls.

Weirdly it's a dancer for me too but the one who was on strictly.

I actually really like the name Vincent, but Vinnie (which he may get) just makes me think of Vinnie Jones!

I don't think it's stuffy or dull at all.

Van Gogh (cut off his ear)
Vinnie Jones WFC (might have liked to cut off ears)
Vince Cable (strictly too and a nice bloke)

Van Gogh
Vince Clarke

I love the name Vincent, though it's usually shortened to Vince Sad

I like Vincent , but dislike Vinnie and Vince as I think they have a totally different feel to be them.

The character in The 80s series Beauty and the Beast. Probably just me though. "he comes from a secret place, far below the city streets"

I love it, it was the only name that DH and I liked for a boy but we had a girl. I even like Vince and Vinny as nicknames, despite the Vinnie Jones association! Smile

There were two very Naughty Boys at school called Vincent so I would always have that association

Ooo, Vince from Queer As Folk.

Also a good dancer. Career motivated. Loved his mum. Clean and tidy.

I'd think of Van Gogh or two Vincents I know at work (one is known as Vin) who are both quite cool and arty.

An absolutely brilliant bloke at work I have tons of respect for. Great boss (not mine, sadly) but always gives credit where it's due, can spot bullshitters a mile off. He's always pleasant, always asks how you are, remembers stuff about you - not in a creepy way - and is very calm in a crisis.

I just think it's a really cool name. Unfortunately I hate the nn Vinnie, so I'd be scared to use it myself.
