Just that smile thoughts on Sophiella? I really love it, but I think it's made up? Oh well, it's still gorgeous!

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen Fri 26-Aug-16 13:23:27

It sounds made up,sorry.

Vixxfacee Fri 26-Aug-16 13:23:54

Just no.

PurpleDaisies Fri 26-Aug-16 13:24:01

Dreadful.

How about Sophie Ella instead? You can call her Sophiella at home.

Loyly Fri 26-Aug-16 13:24:47

Awful, sorry OP.

MysteriesOfTheOrganism Fri 26-Aug-16 13:25:02

Sophie - yes. Ella - yes. Sophiella? hmm No.

wizzywig Fri 26-Aug-16 13:25:16

If your surname is bextor then no

SpeakNoWords Fri 26-Aug-16 13:25:23

I think people will assume on hearing it that it's Sophie-Ella, rather than Sophiella. It's not a name that particularly appeals to me, as it sounds a bit clunky and, yes, made up.

Anasnake Fri 26-Aug-16 13:25:36

Salmonella

expatinscotland Fri 26-Aug-16 13:26:04

No, sorry, it's awful.

JC23 Fri 26-Aug-16 13:26:41

I would assume it was Sophie Ella if I heard it, which is a much nicer option

KingofnightvisionKingofinsight Fri 26-Aug-16 13:27:18

Agree with all of the above.

Nan0second Fri 26-Aug-16 13:28:01

Sophie Ella or Sophie-Ella much nicer and less likely to impact her future job prospects

FrancisCrawford Fri 26-Aug-16 13:29:29

It sounds like an ailment

How is your DD?
Oh, she's awfy ella (say in Scottish accent for maximum effect)

Ratley Fri 26-Aug-16 13:32:25

Errm is it Sophie Ella pronounced as one word?
I read it as Ophelia with an S at the start.
Either way a bit odd but could be worse.

EssentialHummus Fri 26-Aug-16 13:35:01

YY to Sophie-Ella.

Gazelda Fri 26-Aug-16 13:37:44

In afraid my first thought was salmonella too.

Goingtobeawesome Fri 26-Aug-16 13:39:37

Looks awful and like you're trying too hard. Or can't spell.

Dogolphin Fri 26-Aug-16 13:39:59

Sophelia
Ophelia
Henriella
Henrietta
Juliella
Juliette

Some work and some just don't. It depends which are considered accepted and which are made up.

Hockeydude Fri 26-Aug-16 13:43:05

Sophiella just sounds like so feel 'er

Just sounds awful

SteviebunsBottrittrundle Fri 26-Aug-16 13:55:10

Sorry, I don't like it either OP. It does sound a little bit like salmonella to me but aside from that it just isn't a very nice sound.

Sophie with middle name Ella is a lot nicer smile.

Or how about Gabriella or Isabella?

JoanFerguson Fri 26-Aug-16 13:56:43

She's Awfully yellow

CancellyMcChequeface Fri 26-Aug-16 14:39:09

Pronounced like Sophie-Ella, or So-fee-la? If the former, you're better off hyphenating or, better still, using Ella as a middle name. The latter just sounds made up.

Pinklily1 Fri 26-Aug-16 14:40:04

I don't like it at all. Sounds made up, but just my personal opinion.

Caldini22 Fri 26-Aug-16 14:53:51

Not a big fan
