I originally wanted Emilia, but my DH has vetoed it Hmm

So we are trying to find names neither of us mind and so far they are:

Erin Rose, Lucy Aisling or Sophie

(Middle names are set in concrete, I just like them)

I like them all!

Erin is probably the least common if that bothers you

Erin but not with Rose (don't like the repeated but non-alliterative R sound)

Erin Sophie is nice?

Sophie Rose - I used to know one growing up.

I had around half a glass of prosecco at a housewarming and my midwife made me feel so bad Blush Went quiet and then just said "oh, probably best that you don't have any more for the rest of the pregnancy" - I felt awful! I thought half a glass of bubbles in 3 months was totally acceptable until then. And now husband keeps bringing it up Sad

Sophie is my least favourite but you can't go wrong with any.

I'm with your husband on Emilia! It sounds exactly the same as Amelia to me (I used to work with two Emilias) and Amelia is just so well-used atm that it would tend to put me off.

Of the names you suggested, I really like Lucy Aisling or Erin Aisling.

Also, as an alternative to Emilia, what do you think of Emmeline? I loved it for DD but DH vetoed. Could be shortened to Emma or Emmy which are nice nns.

Thanks for your votes ladies Smile

The DH is now thinking Erin Rose is the best out the choices.

I like Erin Rose as it's a bit different & quite strong sounding.
I like Lucy Aisling as it's quite girly & a bit cuter.

Sophie was an extra one but I do think it's too popular a name, so probably won't make the final lol

I think Erin Rose is looking to be the favourite so far!

Lucy Aisling won't be leaving the shortlist until we see our LO though.

We can't agree on boys names... Let's hope it's a girl - Purely because we're more prepared Grin haha. No, we'll be happy with either.
