I know a few people nicknamed Brick its a nickname that's given to a bricklayer or his son or both in some areas.

the kid in The Middle? I think it is part of the comedy that they are an odd family and he is an odd kid with a weird name. Not sure it is one I would want to use.

I know a Brock. Wouldn't be my choice of name, but it's a lot better than Brick, if you like that sort of thing...
