I like Clover! But it makes me want to sing the song off the advert.

I like it. Sweet for a child but suits a mature adult also.

It's a no from me.

It's more a pet name.

It's a cow's name.
Sorry.

It's great. It immediately made me think of Clover from the What Katy Did stories and she is such a nice character.

it's a lovely name but I am afraid it does make me think of cows for some reason; although yes Clover Carr was very sweet.

I love this name. It doesn't go with surname otherwise I would have insisted we use it. I think it's great.

Definitely a cows name. Sister of buttercup.

No just no, as someone has already said it's a pets name

I love it, for a pet cow.

I like it, and I've no preconceptions about it. Never met a cow called clover!

It's a lovely name.

I rode a horse called clover for years, she was lovely. Very dependable, strong, gentle yet strong willed, if anything rather on the dull side. I wouldn't use for a child.

I love the name but maybe as a middle name?

Have to agree about it making me think of butter or cows

fruityb · 06/07/2016 18:57

Watership Down is all I can think of but then I do also think it's quite sweet.

Makes me think of margarine I'm afraid. However, I can see it working- just be aware that every kid will make the association with buttery spread.
