I do like it and I also like clover itself smile however it is a bit of a cow's name 😬

NapQueen Wed 06-Jul-16 18:26:07

I like Clover! But it makes me want to sing the song off the advert.

lavenderpekins Wed 06-Jul-16 18:26:25

Ooh that's true MsKite!

scurryfunge Wed 06-Jul-16 18:26:36

I like it. Sweet for a child but suits a mature adult also.

crje Wed 06-Jul-16 18:27:27

It's a no from me.

It's more a pet name.

ChardonnayKnickertonSmythe Wed 06-Jul-16 18:29:52

It's a cow's name.
Sorry.

DavidPuddy Wed 06-Jul-16 18:45:34

It's great. It immediately made me think of Clover from the What Katy Did stories and she is such a nice character.

TheRealAdaLovelace Wed 06-Jul-16 18:47:30

it's a lovely name but I am afraid it does make me think of cows for some reason; although yes Clover Carr was very sweet.

plimsolls Wed 06-Jul-16 18:47:44

I love this name. It doesn't go with surname otherwise I would have insisted we use it. I think it's great.

Tiggeryoubastard Wed 06-Jul-16 18:48:33

Definitely a cows name. Sister of buttercup.

sonlypuppyfat Wed 06-Jul-16 18:48:54

No just no, as someone has already said it's a pets name

Elllicam Wed 06-Jul-16 18:48:59

I love it smile

Lunar1 Wed 06-Jul-16 18:49:13

I love it, for a pet cow.

thundercake Wed 06-Jul-16 18:50:22

I like it, and I've no preconceptions about it. Never met a cow called clover!

ExitPursuedByABear Wed 06-Jul-16 18:51:16

It's a lovely name.

beenaroundawhile Wed 06-Jul-16 18:52:13

I rode a horse called clover for years, she was lovely. Very dependable, strong, gentle yet strong willed, if anything rather on the dull side. I wouldn't use for a child.

Mycraneisfixed Wed 06-Jul-16 18:52:50

I love the name but maybe as a middle name?

NavyAndWhite Wed 06-Jul-16 18:53:38

Guinea pigs name grin
Cute though.

What about Willow, Primrose, Saffron ( might be a bit too Ab Fab )

Twinkie1 Wed 06-Jul-16 18:53:53

Moo

Agadooo Wed 06-Jul-16 18:54:03

Have to agree about it making me think of butter or cows

fruityb Wed 06-Jul-16 18:57:36

Watership Down is all I can think of but then I do also think it's quite sweet.

puffinpants Wed 06-Jul-16 19:00:08

Makes me think of margarine I'm afraid. However, I can see it working- just be aware that every kid will make the association with buttery spread.

Wolfiefan Wed 06-Jul-16 19:00:35

Dog off This Morning
Butter substitute.
No. Not Clover!

Ilovewillow Wed 06-Jul-16 19:02:57
