Hi everyone
I posted a couple of weeks ago as we were really struggling for a boys name for DC2.

We already have a little boy whos name is Torin Matthew, his new little brother or sister will be

Fern Allison
Niven Alexander

What do you think?

Fern is OK but don't like Niven.

MagnumAddict Wed 06-Jul-16 21:36:26

Don't like Niven, Alexander Niven would be much better IMO

Fern is lovely

NataliaOsipova Wed 06-Jul-16 21:37:21

Niven as in David Niven?

Allalonenow Wed 06-Jul-16 21:37:36

I like Fern, but I prefer the more traditional spelling of Alison.

I'm not keen on Niven, though I suppose it goes with Torin as a "sib set". Are they characters from GoT?

GinIsIn Wed 06-Jul-16 21:43:15

Fern is lovely. I am so sorry but I think Niven is dreadful.

LokisUnderpants Wed 06-Jul-16 21:45:44

I really don't like Niven either. Looks like misspelled Nivea. Alexander is much nicer.

jellycat1 Wed 06-Jul-16 21:46:54

Tiggeryoubastard Wed 06-Jul-16 21:51:04

Niven? Err no.

I prefer Alexander Niven. And I feel like it goes better with Torin.
Fern is nice

I like Niven. A Scottish Saint, according to google. Very nice, OP.

SirChenjin Thu 07-Jul-16 08:24:51

Google also says it's the anglicised spelling of the Irish Naomhan grin
