I always wanted to be called Sheridan when I was little. I used to sign my drawings Sheridan. I am very jealous of Sheridan smith,

👍🏻 from me.

Love it. First read it in a book. Never met one in real life.

ElspethFlashman Sun 26-Jun-16 22:04:34

I'm sorry, but........

WellDoYaPunks Sun 26-Jun-16 22:07:23

nn Sherry??

kinkytoes Sun 26-Jun-16 22:11:46

Oh hilarious!

I must admit KUA wasn't my first thought, Sheridan Smith was. But now all I can hear is Hyacinth Bucket!

I do think it's a nice name though.

villainousbroodmare Sun 26-Jun-16 22:34:34

Hyacinth! no other thoughts, I fear. grin

OhTheRoses Sun 26-Jun-16 22:35:39

I thought Hyacinth too. It's a surname!

Raines100 Mon 27-Jun-16 06:32:06

Would it be for a boy or a girl, OP?
Boy= Hyacinth Bucket
Girl= Sheridan Smith

WellDoYaPunks Mon 27-Jun-16 07:53:54

Oh girl definitely- I was thinking Sheridan smith
I'm not sure hyacinth would be relevant to her & her peers...!
I like it but just not 100% sure!

JazzAnnNonMouse Mon 27-Jun-16 07:59:01

It's a chardonnay name to me...

PotteringAlong Mon 27-Jun-16 08:19:44

Maybe not, but it would be relevant to every parent of friends, every volunteer at a group and every teacher they have...

Only1scoop Mon 27-Jun-16 08:55:34

Yes a Chardonnay esque type name

Still keep hearing "Sheridan" Bucket though

JakeyB Mon 27-Jun-16 12:27:28

Only ever known one, many years ago. She was very posh, but also a bit of a snob not helpful in the least .

alexandragimenez Mon 27-Jun-16 13:11:58

I don't really like it - sorry. Maybe Sherry?

Pinklily1 Mon 27-Jun-16 20:36:49

Also makes me think of Sheridan Smith, which isn't a particularly good thing given her recent issues.

1horatio Mon 27-Jun-16 21:04:55

The only Sheridan I know is a simply lovely woman. Smart, educated, lovely kids, a nice husband...

So, I personally really like the namesmile

Strokethefurrywall Mon 27-Jun-16 21:16:46

I like it too, knew of one when I was in high school and think Sheridan Smith is lovely so it's a thumbs up from me!

LadyAntonella Mon 27-Jun-16 21:44:52

I immediately thought of Keeping Up Appearances which isn't great.

MitzyLeFrouf Mon 27-Jun-16 22:54:57

SomeDaysIDontGiveAMonkeys Mon 27-Jun-16 23:13:18
