Noely Truth

I have four kids and am expecting a fifth very, very soon! Our daughters are called Isolde Finn, Honora Valentine and Olympia Saffron. Our lone, gorgeous boy is called Stellan North. Issy is 10 Shock, Nora is 7, Stell is 5 and Pippa is 2. If we have a boy, I like: Ashton Xavier, Charleston Xavier, Hart Ashton or Hart Xavier. I really, really like Noely Truth for a girl but I've had less than pleasant reactions to it! So, I'm turning to MN to see whether you like it. Hit me with your best shot!

How did stellan get shortened to pippa? Anyway, noely seems to be in line with your other kids names

You've put a lot of specific and identifiable information in your op. Ashton Xavier is nice. Noel Truth sounds a bit made up...sorry

Is that like the Noely Ghost?

It sounds a little bit like someone who gets burnt at the stake in the Salem witch trials - sorry!

Well, Pippa is short for Olympia not Stellan. They are just funny nicknames! We are in the UK.

Noely is what guys called Noel get called by their mates around here (Dublin) but that's probably irrelevant.

I would associate any Noël, Noelle etc with a Christmas birth I guess.

Ashton Xavier is my favourite of your boy names Smile

I think Pippa is the shortened form for Olympia - still not sure how you got that though. Sorry, I don't like Noely Truth, it sounds like you picked random words out of a hat.

I don't like Noely and especially not before Truth - the y on the end makes it sound like an adjective describing the type of truth.

Although I think Truth works fine as a middle name and goes with your other DC's unconventional names but I don't like Noely at all. Also whilst your other DD's first names lead to more usual nicknames which is always useful if you choose an unusual name I can't see a conventional nickname arising from Noely.

I would look for a different first name.

My username is like this because I signed up newly. I mentioned it in my op, please don't insult me and be rude. Insult the name sure but not me. Noelle is nice, does anybody like that?

Noelle and Noel both ok. Noely is silly, as is Truth.

Your other kids at least have proper names, albeit whacky ones apart from North.

Neither Noely nor Truth are actual names.

Nola is better. I didn't think Noely was a name tbh.
Why have you given two of your girls boys names?

I'm not a fan of Noely but Noelle is lovely. I'd lose the middle name though OP.

Sorry but if someone introduced their new baby to me as noely truth id really struggle to stop myself from laughing.

Noelle is cute and quirky but noely is odd and a bit silly sounding. Would probably get shortened to Nono in your family I imagine too Grin.

Nah I'm just kidding on that last bit. None of our business what you call your kids really but I'd never choose it as a name.

If you're in the US this name would make me think you were from Utah (well, in this case it may NoeLy).
Anyhow, a Utah-vibe obviously isn't bad but potentiallynot what you're going for... What about Nolwyn? Nolwenn? Nola (Magnolia)? Noreen?

Noelle is cute for a winterbaby, imo.

But Noelle is imo muuch prettier than Noely. Whether it's a Winter or Summer baby.

Noely sounds like gnarly. Truth is a stupid name. Noelle verity has the same meaning but actually sounds nice?

How about Nuala?
