No, not at all. Wouldn't go for another F either tbh, how about Logan. I like that. Not my kids tho. I don't like Stanley on it's own either. The older names are coming back in tho aren't they. Best of luck with the new bundle x

No its not a nice name at all, all these old man names went out of fashion for a reason. Why don't you start a trend and call him Gary or Craig

def not keen on another F - whether its a boy or girl that'd be just a bit too twee!!

There's a boy at school called Logan who is a little shit! Otherwise that'd be on the list for us....

Not keen on Stanley personally. I know old fashioned names are back 'in' but to me, I really can't picture it on a person under 70. That said, I know a couple of baby Stanley, so if must be making a come back and clearly some people do like it.

What other names have you considered?

I know quite a few Stanleys but really don't like it.

I rather like Stanley. It's pretty popular in U7s in West Yorks.

I love Stanley, we'd have used it but had two girls and it didn't really suit them!!

I know a 14 yo Stanley who gets the piss ripped out of him, and a baby Stanley who everyone thinks it suits. Confused

Personally, I think it's horrible.

Well I actually really like it Grin but then I don't think of it as an old mans name.

I know a few, including a lovely 12 year old who never has a problem with it.

It's insanely popular for under 5's here in S. London. Lovely name.

I really, really dislike it. I know there are loads of little ones so perhaps I'm in a minority.

I don't really the name much but I definitely don't think it fits with Fraser and Finlay which are both lovely names. How about Kerr, Keir, Cameron, Ruaridh?

I imagine a little boy full of character. I think Stan is quite cute but you'll never get 100% consensus when it comes to any name.
