I do really like this name but I'm wondering how popular it is...?

I only know of one 7 year old. We're in the South West by the way.

DH is called Theo. I know someone who has a young child, possibly around 2 with that name. Other than that I haven't heard it much. But I do think it's becoming more popular judging by baby name sites. I think it's a lovely name.

I know a two year old Theo and it really suits him. I've heard a few other toddler/pre-school Theos being called in the park so seems popular where I am (East London).

Hi, lovely name BUT here in the South East, it is crazily popular along with the name Toby. Every little boy in the playground seems to be one of the two! Where all the Ollies and Jacobs (allegedly top 5 names) are I've no idea!

Good Luck!

It has been increasingly popular in this corner of London for about thirteen years, judging by the number of Theos who have started to come through to the secondary school where I work. I also encountered several in baby groups while on mat leave. It's not quite the new Jack yet but I anticipate that it'll stay popular for a while.

Yes, there definitely seems to be a surge in Theos...

I love it but apparently it is becoming popular. I have never met one in RL though.

Why don't you use Theodore and then DS could choose a nn (I love Teddy too you see) Grin.
