Think we have finally whittled name choices down to two girls names and would appreciate opinions please! :) we already have a daughter called Isla so would like it to go with her name too.

So.. Poppy or Imogen? What do you think?

Thanks for the votes everyone. I forgot to add, even though we do love Imogen, I'm a bit worried about having two names beginning with I, do you think it sounds silly with Isla or am I just over thinking? It's so much pressure trying to find the perfect name lol!

Imogen is lovely, but not sure Imogen Isla works.

Oh, just realized Isla is your other daughter's name, not a middle name with Imogen.
So, I don't think it's a problem having two I initials.

Poppy.

Also, I share a first initial and surname with a brother. To this day we still open each other's mail which still gets sent to parents' house (dormant bank accounts, that sort of stuff). So I would avoid same initials.

Imogen. I don't think having the same initial as a sibling is an issue.

Imogen - all the way! Classy, elegant, beautiful.

Poppy sounds...ploppy. And slightly cutesy. Do not love.

Imogen is lovely and classy, I agree.
Poppy is nice enough, but quite cutesy as Koala said.

Imogen by a mile - Poppy much too cutesy for my taste.

Imogen. I don't think the two i-names sound at all silly. They sound lovely together.

Thank you everyone Smile I agree that Imogen is lovely and classy, and although a lot of people do think Poppy is cutesy, I have always had a soft spot for it!
