Baby names

Help! Baby due next week and I don't LOVE any names!

There's just nothing I like as much as my DD's name! (Martha)
We're pretty happy with girls choice (Amelia Rose) but boys we have no idea! I want something that is strong / traditional to match Martha but can use a nickname for when baby is young - names im considering but don't love are:
William - Billy
Theodore - Theo
Tobias - Toby
Alfred - Alfie
Oliver - Ollie

There doesn't seem to be anything in the middle for boys - ie, not too traditional or too wacky. I'm also aware that everything I've listed is pretty much in the top 10 which is something I also wanted to avoid!

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I think Billy is the nicest. It quite unusual now as well. The others are ridiculously over done.
Some suggestions.

Yes, agree with William/Billy out of your choices.

Have never met a little Billy, but meet loads and loads of Ollies, Theos and Tobys.

Robert (Bertie?)
Patrick?

Good luck!

Blake?
Pierre?

I've gone very traditional with my names. My thoughts were that with a traditional name, they won't get "how is that spelt?" and no matter what they wanted to be in life, it would be 'safe'.

I know....boring.....

Christopher (or Christian) can be Kit as well as Chris
Nicholas?
Don't panic too much though - my son was essentially named before his older sister was born, but it took us about 4 more days to settle on a girl's name we were happy with (and she was 2 weeks overdue ...). It's worth keeping an open mind and making sure of your decision :) Good luck with it all.

I know two Marthas. Their brothers are:

Do you like Tobias/Toby or Benjamin/Benji?

I love all your boy choices - most of them were on my short list too.

Isaac/Izaak - Zaccy
Samuel - Sam
Daniel - Danny/Dan (Used to be so popular but much less usual these days)
James - Jimmy, Jim, Jamie, Jay
Wilfred - Wilf, Fred, Freddie
Alexander - Al, Alex, Alec, Sasha, Sandy, Xander

Jonathan - Jon/Jonny/Jonty
Edward - Ed/Eddie/Ted/Teddy
Rafferty - Raf/Raffy

Martha and Billy are good though

We are in the same situation. I love our girls name choice but I'm not in love or committed to any boys names at all. When it comes down to it I think we'll have to just take the list to the hospital and if it's a boy just see what suits him best.

Anyway. I agree with other others. Martha and Billy are nice (and Martha and Will).

What about:
Zachary (Zach)
Jack
Frederick (Fred/Freddie)
Harry
Jacob (Jake)
Felix
Jonah (Joe)
James (Jamie)
Ethan
Thomas (Tom)
Maximillion (Max)
Sebastian (Seb)
Reuben (Rue/Ben)
Jude
Luca
Louie
Louis
Elliott
Joseph (Joey)

I sympathise. When we had Ada's, almost. 4 years ago, we had a couple of girls names that we thought might be nice but could not agree on a boys name!! In fact the one we chose was the only one neither of us actively disliked!!!!!

How about Theodore - Teddy?

William - Billy or Will is lovely.

Jonathan - Jonty?
