Sister for Annabelle

Just that really. We don't know the gender but we're decided on a name it its a boy. We love our DD's name and it really suits her and I love the nn options (she uses Annie and Belle depending on the wind direction!) but I am worried that we won't love another as much. Must be a name that has nn options but I would use the full name on birth certificate.

Other names that I love are:

Juliet nn Ettie (despite opting for the frillier, less mumsnet friendly spelling of Annabelle, I prefer the Juliet spelling rather than Juliette)

Charlotte nn Lottie ( don't love Charlotte but love love love Lottie)

Elisabeth nn Bess (again, more in love with the nn)

Felicity (though DH was unconvinced last time)

Josephine nn Josie

Other names that I like but cannot use are:

Beatrice
Alice
Eleanor
Emily
Olivia
Sophie
Rosa

DH says no to Florence, Constance, Prudence.

What else might I like / which of those names do you like best? Thanks!! Xx

Tessa?
Maria?

I think something ending in an 'a' would go well with Annabelle

Good Luck whatever you decide

Don't like Felicity and prefer Elizabeth spelt this way.
Probably prefer Juliet.
How about Louisa, Faye, Alexandra, Cassandra, Melissa.

Charlotte is my favourite Smile goes well with Annabelle. I think Juliette goes amazing! However, that spelling, so it's even Grin

I feel like you need a one syllable name eg
Annabelle and Kate
Annabelle and Eve
Annabelle and Tess
Annabelle and Jane
Annabelle and Faye
Annabelle and Rose
Annabelle and Beth
Annabelle and Hope

Some of those are shortened versions of longer names so you could use those eg Katherine, Elizabeth.

I like Charlotte (Lottie) as a sibling for Annabelle.

DD2 is Charlotte (mostly known as Lottie) and Annabelle was on our list for DD1 although we went with Isabel in the end.

I also love Harriet (Hattie) and love Ettie as a nickname for Juliet.

If you like Rosa would Rosalie work?

I used to know twins called Annabelle and Emily and they had another sister called Kate. I think all of those names are lovely.
