Already have a Lily, now need help from the good people of mumsnet choosing a name for her brother/sister!

I don't want another flower name, or anything that rhymes with Lily i.e Tilly or Billy. But apart from that am open minded!

Names I like:

Girl:
Frances
Olivia
Lyra
Annie
Charlotte

Boy:
Henry
Harry
George
Oliver
Isaac

Thanks guys Smile

Delilah would be nice for a girl, Oscar for a boy.

Like all your ideas as well, not sure about lyra with lilly though, saying them both quickly together sounds a bit like a tongue twister.

Charlotte might turn into Lottie so you might have a Lily and Lottie - would that be ok with you? I think it's quite sweet.

I would pick Annie but have Annabel/Annabella as a longer version, something for her to grow into and she may want to be called Anna or Belle more then Annie when she knows her own mind. I love Harry and Oliver from your boys list. Both would go very nicely I think. All great names I think :)

Frances or Oliver

There's something about how the stress falls that makes Oliver sound better than Olivia with Lily.

Oscar is nice.

Lily and Oliver are fine. But Lily and Ollie are quite similar and a bit of a tongue twister.

You obviously like the letter L OP.

Dylan? A bit lil n dyl though.

Finn. Freddie. Alfie

Not Dylan!

Lili and dyl always get muddled.

Oscar and Annie.

Frankie would be a nice nickname for Frances or Francesca.
Oscar or Isaac are your boys' names that go best with Lily, IMO.

Without seeing your list, my first instinct was Lily and Laura (overdue a comeback!)

Lily and Frances is nice is you think you'll be able to stop it being shortened to Fran.
Francesca is beautiful but presents the same problem.
Not too fussed on your other four choices.
My favourite girls' name right now is Genevieve (Jenna-Veev). Has potential for Evie as a nickname. It's a beautiful old-fashioned name that still manages to sound current and is not often heard. It complements Lily too, I think.
I also love Sylvie. Lily and Sylvie sound pretty together.

For boys, Henry is good. There are going to be a squillion Georges so I'd avoid. I think Michael would be nice alongside Lily. In fact, Michael Henry is really nice.
Lily and William has a nice ring to it, though Lil and Will, Lilly/ Willy potential? Lily and William/ Will sounds good though...
Lily and Lucas Henry?
Lily and Sean Oliver?
Lily and Jude Francis?
