Baby names

If I love Ivy and Iris but can't use them....

Baby is due in a week and we're all set for boys names but still not in love with a girls option.

My name is short, punchy, easy to spell and pronounce and classic but relatively rare. I never meet name buddies in real life but name gets a lot of mn love! I want something similar for possible dd2!

I love the name Ivy as it's classic but simple and not overused. But it just won't work with DH surname. Our dd1 is Iris which I adored throughout last pregnancy.

What else should I be considering? I like Seren but just not convinced like I was with Iris.

I personally think Karen, Tracy and Sharon are beautiful strong names but I'm too old to know whether they have 'recovered' yet.

If you really love Ivy are you absolutely sure it wouldn't work with your surname??

I think Hazel, and it's a botanical name like Iris and Ivy. Works well for a baby and an adult woman.

I love Hazel, for the reasons PP gave, plus everyone's heard it and knows how to spell it but it's not mega-popular. We've had nothing but compliments on our Hazel's name.
