Blimey, it was only yesterday evening I was thinking about Sally as a potential name - what a coincidence.

I think it's a lovely name but I'm not 100% sold on it (for me) and I don't know why. It's fresh but classic at the same time. I only know one Sally (mid-30s) - unfortunately people call her "Sal" which she really hates but she's too polite to correct them!

I'm a 'Sally'; there are very few of us. Have known a 'Sally Anne' and taught a Sallie last year. don't often get called Sal,( apart from by DH)! I like having a different name. bTw at 41 I think I'm nearly middle aged! 😢

I know a baby Sally. I think it's sweet as long as it isn't "Sally-Anne", the 1970's precursor to Lily-May (nice names but a bit overdone together).
