In search of unusual, sweet girl name

So here I am, after debating all sorts of names with DH, which one would it be?

We want an unusual, but by that we mean a name that is not often used like Freya or Olivia.

Matilde (We both like it, it is Spanish like DH, but is it too common?)
Irene (I like only the Spanish pronunciation, but not the English)

And then we are stuck and cannot think of anything else as we do not agree on anything else...

Any suggestions, appreciated.
We love Spanish names due to DH roots, but open to any suggestions...

I know a baby Ines which is lovely. They have no Spanish roots actually but loved the name.

Oh, thank you, we did cover all those names but did not agree

Cerise not my taste esp as the Spanish family will call her Therise, which I do not like
and Avalie not DH's taste

I have a Portugese friend called Ines. Pretty name.
How about Aurelia, Arianna, Andrianna, Lucia, Eloise...

So funny we covered those as well, pretty names I agree

Love Eloise, but DH does not and we both like Ines, but it is the DD of a friend :-(

How about Matilde? Do you think it is too common?

Love some of the names mentioned, but many are names of our friend's children...

I don't think Matilde is common. It depends how you say it. There are quite a few Matilda's nn Tilly I know but not hundreds.

LineyReborn Thu 14-Apr-16 22:59:43

I really like Matilde

pieceofpurplesky Thu 14-Apr-16 23:00:08

Matilde/Tilly/Matilda not unusual.

Rocio is a gorgeous name - I know one little girl and it is lovely and seems to work well in The UK pronounced Rothio (by the family I know)
Love Paloma but P Faith has made it a trendy name around here ....

Ines
Sylvie but I think that's French.

Not Spanish but Cecily is pretty.
