Hi all on here,

I'm a very long time lurker - have been since my first ever pregnancy. However, unfortunately, we haven't had a child since a couple of weeks ago. IVF and 6 years later, 3 little miracles entered the world and they belong to us. I haven't wanted to take part with all the threads until I was officially a mummy. They are almost 3 weeks and I can just about begin to see their personalities come through, as multiples tend to be early, I've only just really been able to spend lots of time with them. Names are now a must.

Yes, we have had lots of ideas, but we have to think of 6 perfect names and that's becoming a really difficult task. We thought about family names, but none are particularly lovely. However, we are fans of 'filler' middle names, but I know they're not particularly liked on here, but if none sound right with our chosen names, we may not have middle names, as much to my family's disgust! We just haven't decided.

Sorry about the long post! We have 2 daughters and a son... Boys names are therefore a lot easier. Yeah, we have a lot of ideas, but there's just too many.

We like classics for boys or biblical, so names like:
Alexander
Benjamin
Charles
Daniel
Henry
Jacob
James
Louis
Matthew
Oliver
William

For girls, we vary a lot, we like such a variety:
Annabelle
Charlotte
Ella
Grace
Isabella
Lily
Olivia
Rose

There are more and definitely open to suggestions.

Thank you all so much and very pleased to be a part of this community :)

Your post has actually made me well up a bit! Congrats on your three amigos - here's my tuppence worth:

Boy:
Benjamin and Daniel are timeless. Ben and Danny are sweet abbreviations too. I'm going to get flamed here but Louis is starting to become really common - not an issue in itself but it's manifest at the moment it seems.
Girls: Annabel and Charlotte are a beautiful combination that really "go" together. I've only ever heard of one "Annabelle" who was a Scottish SNP MP. Don't let that put you off! Again, Lily, Olivia and Ella are everywhere at the moment, not an issue per se but your other names are more individual.
One word of warning; pairing Annabel with Isabelle will give your more "Belles" than a telephone exchange.

Congrats again x

Love Louis, Oliver and William
Love Annabelle, Olivia and Rose

If I was choosing (and all these names have been on my lists), I'd go for:-

Louis, Anabelle and Olivia
Or
William, Annabelle and Rose

Love Alex, Ben, Finn, Fred, Sam.

I like all your girls' names but might avoid Olivia, Grace and Ella due to popularity.

Huge congratulations by the way! Flowers

Congratulations!!

From your lists, I think Annabelle, Charlotte & Benjamin sound great together.

Have you thought of Edward, Francesca or Meredith?

Alexander, Charlotte & Francesca sound nice.

For middle names, I think James sounds good with pretty much any first name. And for your little ladies, Rose & Grace could work, depending which first names you go for...

Good luck choosing!

I like all your boys names but particularly Matthew which means 'gift'. Nathaniel has the same meaning and fits with your classic list. I also liked Reuben.

I'm not keen on Annabelle but I like Anna and Joanna ( another gift name). Josephine? Charlotte is a beautiful name.

I'd pick Matthew, Charlotte (Charlie/ Lottie) and Josephine ( Josie/Effie)

Huge congratulations! Flowers

Aww congratulations.
I know these names aren't on your list, but Gabriel would be nice for your boy. And Phoebe and Naomi for your girls. All biblical names.

If I was naming triplets out of your list I would go with:

Matthew Daniel
Charlotte rose

Any chance of a sneaky pic to make us all broody?? I hope you are all having lots of fun getting to know each other and I hope you've had plenty of time to recover and rest Flowers

Wow!! Congratulations! How beautiful! I like the idea someone said earlier about names with a 'gift' meaning, as these are such a blessing! So from your list I'd probably go for Matthew, Anna (rather than Annabelle) and Grace.

Another boy name I really like is Reuben.

congratulations! live Matthew, which would have been our DCs name if I'd had a boy
I had a girl - Charlotte- so obviously that is a great name. I often think if she had a sister Alexandra would be a good choice, then you could have nn Lottie and Lexie

From your list, I like Alexander, Charlotte and Isabella.

Sorry if I gave the wrong impression, but I don't have another child :)

These are my first, I'm coping very well, I was discharged a week ago. I admit, I'm struggling with expressing milk, but I'm doing well, I'll do absolutely anything for them!

Again, thank you for all the suggestions!
