After a colour in the rainbow. What do you choose for boy and a girl?

I would choose Red for a boy and Violet for a girl.

Indigo. For either.

Teal is not a colour of the rainbow.

None of them sound like names except Violet. Green or Blue for a boy I guess, but I'd feel pretty daft calling them either.

Sky (blue) for a girl. Forest (green) for a boy.

Violet for a girl. And I'm going to say blue for a boy. Not because it's a boys colour just like the sound.

Missed the rainbow bit, sorry. In that case I'd choose the same as the OP.

Are we stuck to just 7 colours or is anything on the spectrum allowed?

If the former, Green for a girl (because of the Joni Mitchell song) and Red for a boy for me too.

It's obnovious, surely - Pink for a girl, and Blue for a boy Wink

Indigo- nn Indi for a boy, Violet or Blue for a girl. Couldn't name any of them Red as there was a villain in the Famous Five who was called Red, and so that's been forever associated with negativity for me!

Indigo for a boy, because it's close to Inigo (Montoya!)

Red for a girl, because I like the names Ruby and Scarlett

Indigo and Violet
Was tempted to use one or other of those names with dd but didn't in the end. But part of me wishes I had!
