Twin name to go with Agnes

This is hypothetical at the moment, but I've come to a compromise with DH that if third baby is twin girls we will name one of them Agnes - his mum's name. I don't like the name Agnes but this is what we've agreed to.

Obviously ideally we won't have twin girls now, but if we do what names would go well?

Why are you even assuming they're twins? Especially twin girls?

I'm not assuming they're twins Grin It's a hypothetical question at the moment. The compromise is if we have two girls to name, one of them will be Agnes.

So is the plan that the hypothetical twin gets Agnes and you get to name the other real life one a name you like?

I like Agnes and Mabel. Mabel Agnes could work as a middle name compromise

Agnes and Kylie and Agnes and Lexi are not sister pairs I would expect Grin

Agnes and Doris are probably painfully on trend hipster names.

With both our children we agreed on a boys' name, and I vetoed Agnes for a girls name. By the time we get to the 3rd DH is getting a bit stroppy that I'm vetoing Agnes again so I have conceded that if we have two girls, we'll name one each Hmm

I actually like Maude. And Audrey. Kind of ugly-cool?

I would have had Agnes and Audrey if I'd been allowed.

But I don't think you should be forced to accept a name you don't like.

Agnes is going to grow up thinking you hated her especially if you don't give her sister an equally ugly name. Can you compromise with a middle name?
