Makes me think of the song. "I'm gonna make you the biggest star the world has ever seen"
Get out the cardboard, scissors and the glitter glue :)

The one at my children's nursery is pronounced emme-line

U.K. Pronounciation is Emma Lean (based on the a a Milne poem, Emmeline to rhyme with queen)

US pronounciation is Emma Line.

I think!!

Or maybe
Emmy lean

There's definitely an e sound when I say it rather than an a.

Where does the 'a' come from that some of you are adding? To me it is
like it is written, Emm-e-leen!

Emma-leen.

Gummi The point is that the first part of the name is pronounced the same as 'Emma'. Plus 'leen'. I suppose strictly speaking it is not actually an 'a' sound, but more like 'Emm-uh'. But that's the same with every name ending in 'a', and everyone knows what is meant, I would have thought.

Emmaline should probably be pronounced the same as Caroline...emphasis on line and not lean or lyn.....very pretty name
