Is there any names you would avoid for other reasons that popularity. What names and why?x

Avoid anything coming out in upcoming Disney films.

Avoid any initials that spell out possible bullying bait

Oh I'm so out of touch with Disney films (apart from frozen... Elsas everywhere) 🙈 So will have to research up and coming ones

Round here every other little girl is a flower (lily, daisy, poppy, rose), or Isabella (Isobel, belle, Bella, Izzy).

George and Henry are incredibly popular for boys.

All lovely names though.

I'd avoid names that could be snigger-worthy once they're a bit older - Roger, Randy, Candida, Fanny etc.

Anything obviously teasable such as Will(y) or Fanny.

I'd also avoid super popular names as they will need a surname initial to identify them and they may sound dated as they fall out of fashion again.

There are lots of beautiful classic underused names on the ONS lists, outside the top 100. Kids are very acceptable of different names imo.

Any names that I don't like, obviously. But no point listing those as it's a subjective and personal thing.

Any names that have been used by close family members.

Any names that belong to people I really don't like.

Names that belong/ed to evil or controversial famous figures.

I would avoid anything that 'dates' to another generation. Lisa, Michelle and Karen are objectively pretty names (IMO). But they scream 1970s to me, as there were a ton of them in my era.

Also, any name which is unusual and also strongly connected with someone who died horribly, E.g Azaria or Reeva.
