I have a Frank smile

Patrick is my favourite from your list (and is actually my Frank's middle name).

James is also great (I would call him Jim/Jimmy).

Jack is ok but far too popular for me.

Jamie and Daniel are rather insipid and don't have anywhere near the character of a name like Frank.

Oh and I hate Oliver but realise I'm in the minority with that one. It just sounds so ugly.

James Patrick or Patrick Oliver

Patrick James!

Jamie
But I also think you have to see the baby's face to find a name that suits

When I had my 4d scan that's when I settled on a name

I only really like Patrick from your list.

Does a baby really 'look' like any name?!

ThroughThickAndThin01 Thu 04-Feb-16 14:18:14

James Patrick NN Jamie

No a baby doesn't look like a name.

But when you see a baby's face on the 4D scan or once they are born they seem to suit some names better than others I think

James Patrick - then could use James or Jamie (a lot of people will presume Jamie is nn for James). Good solid name!
2nd favourite Jack Oliver (although traditionally I think Jack is a nn version of John - Never quite sure why as they have the same no of letters...).

Thanks everyone. Wile can I ask, has anyone ever commented to you about the Eastender's connection of using Frank and Patrick...as in Frank and Pat Butcher?? I'm sure this is me being totally mental, it's pretty tenuous. Frank is such as awesome name I'm finding it hard to follow!

Think my top 3 at the moment are Patrick Oliver, James Patrick, and Jack Oliver. Oliver is DBro so would like to use it and think it goes nicely with these classic names.

Another for Patrick Oliver!

Lovely name to go with the ever-cool Frank!

DontKillMyVibe Thu 04-Feb-16 21:35:33

Patrick Oliver

Unless the name was specifically shortened to Pat, the eastenders connection would never occur to me.

Sgoinneal Thu 04-Feb-16 21:36:03

I like Paddy as a nn rather than Pat, would avoid the tenuous Butcher problem grin

DonaldsDuck Thu 04-Feb-16 21:53:34

Love Patrick, I'd vote for Patrick Oliver or James Patrick

Patrick is the best by a long way!
