Ok! This probably isn't what you all meant by back to the drawing board (!) - but we do like these so worth a shot... Thoughts/preferences on Cooper, Archer or Huxley? (Yes throwing Archer in againsmile)

They are all excellent surnames.

Just call your child Archer.

It's fine.

MissAlabamaWhitman Sun 31-Jan-16 00:05:24

Oh and are you American OP?

20thcenturyschizoidwoman Sun 31-Jan-16 00:05:52

Cooper!

My eldest nephews name and he is a cool kid!

MilkTwoSugarsThanks Sun 31-Jan-16 00:07:30

Isn't Huxley a pig?

lunar1 Sun 31-Jan-16 00:08:50

Are you American? Or are they for surnames?

Mclaren37 Sun 31-Jan-16 00:09:24

No but we spent a very long time living there MissAlabama. Is it obvious?grin

MissAlabamaWhitman Sun 31-Jan-16 00:10:49

Maybe a tad wink

I quite like both Cooper and Huxley.

Coop and Hux.

I like Huxley of the three. Archies are two a penny and Cooper rhymes with pooper.

Cooper

Huxley

BellaMoo Sun 31-Jan-16 14:37:36

Huxley.

FlyDragonfly1 Sun 31-Jan-16 14:51:14

Huxley is pretty cool. I like the link with the author Aldous Huxley.
Archer is sweet as well but there are loads of kids called Archie these days.
Not a fan of Cooper. Huxley and Archer all the way.

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost Sun 31-Jan-16 15:10:29

Cooper

Alisvolatpropiis Sun 31-Jan-16 15:11:16

Cooper

God, is Archer the new Finn? There have been about 20 threads recently asking people's thoughts on it it's awful, but not as awful as Huxley. Or Finn, for that matter
There's clearly going to be an explosion of Archers over the next couple of years.

MNemonica Sun 31-Jan-16 15:18:02

What breed of dog is it?

calzone Sun 31-Jan-16 15:19:12

Huxley is a pig.

CatatonicSonic Sun 31-Jan-16 15:21:33

Archer is a dogs name imo

Huxley is super cute.

MuttonCadet Sun 31-Jan-16 15:32:21

Great names for boxer dogs.

Sophronia Sun 31-Jan-16 19:04:03

I don't like any of them, sorry, but I suppose Archer is slightly better than the other two

Ludways Sun 31-Jan-16 19:08:05

I lived in the states for years but that's given me an aversion for American names and I don't like the surname trend.

I know a Cooper, its ok but most people repeat, " no, what's your first name?", he doesn't like it. Archer is better then Huxley.
