Freddie or Jack. I'm not keen on Alfred or Theodore at all. I much prefer Edward shortened to Teddy.

I don't like Freddie but really like Frederick/Fred.
Theodore/Teddy is nice.

God this is hard! How on earth do you commit to a name?! None particularly stands out above any other Shock

Alfred is pretty wonderful.
Theodore is lovely but very popular at the minute.
I love jack too xx

Alfred! Then you can try out Alf and Freddie once he's here and decide then :)

Jack and more so, Joshua are massively popular ATM, so once he goes to school he could well be Jack3 or Joshua5, so I wouldn't use them.

Freddie is cute on a little boy, but not so cute on a grown up, though I do like Frederick.

Theodore is having a bit of a peak just now, so Alfred is a good choice.

Alfred - not keen, but I do like Alfie!
Freddie - I like this - I like the Freddy spelling too...
Theodore - this is okay, but I love Teddy (prefer it as a NN for Edward)
Joshua - it's okay, but very popular... I think his teachers will expect to be teaching a Joshua (that isn't bad, but he'll probably be called by his last name) - Josh is a nice shortening...
Jack - same as Joshua ^ but I do quite like it!

They're all very popular especially Jack and Theo. I really like the suggestion of Jonathan!

Theo and Teddy so overdone at the moment (apologies as they're nice names but have lost their freshness)

Freddie and Jack are my favourite of your list. Both classic names, so, although Jack is quite popular, it still sounds nice rather than dated like the above!

Good luck choosing!

Jack is lovely. A gorgeous name for boy or man which will never go out of fashion. Love it!

How popular are Josh and Jack?

For those of you who have DCs, are you noticing multiple of these names in your kids classes?

Joshua and Jack are naughty boy names round here.

I like Alfred, but there are a bazillion Alfies, of course.

Theo is lovely and I only know one. What about Leo?

Joshua or Jack. Jack is on our boys' name list too! I know it's supposedly really popular but I don't know any Jacks at all, whereas I know about half a dozen Theos just off the top of my head, and the same for Alfie! Wait til baby arrives and see what he looks like, it might be that he really suits one name over the others Smile
