DH & I both love Lennox Ava for our DD due in June. I would love opinions as I just can't decide if it's the one!

I like Logan, I nearly picked it for my son but DH wouldn't let me because he lived in Chicago! I saw recently that someone called a girl Logan so I just wanted to check.

I haven't heard of Lennox as a girls name before.

Lennox reminds me of the sad dog story :(

That's probably not enough to not use it as a name, though.

I love Logan.

I can't see Lennox as a girl's name. I can only think of the boxer.

I know 2 boys called Lennox. I think it could be either though. Lennox Ava is good.

Might not two children with exactly the same initials cause confusion in the future?

Report
Sofiria · 13/01/2016 14:11

I love Ava but personally dislike the idea of Lennox as a girl's name. Sorry!

I did think that about the initials, it was coincidence no intentional as we've always loved Ava. Loved Lennox after seeing a girl on an American TV show with the name and it really suited her! Think we may have a rethink now though. DH is so bloody difficult with names we hardly agree on any!

Also my DS does have an extra initial in there too, it's actually Logan Axel James then surname Smile

Lennox very masculine for a girl!

DonkeysDontRideBicycles · 13/01/2016 15:13

Well how about Ava Lennox?

Or something different altogether like Joely or Morgan.

Report
Armywifelife · 13/01/2016 17:06

I'm definitely going off Lennox now I've seen the boxer.
I love Morgan though will suggest that to DH. Love Florence too but I doubt DH will

Lennox is a boys name. Alexandra nn Lexi would be more girly.

Lennox is too masculine to me, and having 2 such similar names for your DC does look a bit Khardashian...

There's a female character in an Agatha Christie novel called Lenox with one N. I always quite liked it, never thought of the boxer!

SirChenjin · 14/01/2016 17:09

Lennox just reminds me of the boxer - not keen, sorry. Love Ava though Smile

How about Daria?

I know a female grown up Lennox and it suits her brilliantly.

I think Lennox is very masculine.

Theres a girl Lennox in Melissa and Joey. But its very much a boys name where i am.I also have a Logan James.Nothing to do with Wolverine at allGrin.

I dont think Florence "goes" with Logan, you need a similar type of name
How about
Alexis
Callie
Joely
Rose
Paige
Madison[Ava] Surname has a nice ring to it.
