Dh is adamant on Willow but i'm not sure now despite suggesting it. I am liking Joelly at the moment. And Connie.

I thought Joely was spelled with one L otherwise it looks like Jelly.

Willow is much nicer than Joely... I've never heard that before. Is it pronounced like Angelina Jolie?

I like willow but not joelly. Sounds like a corny nickname used by close family only for a baby called Joel to me. Not a take me seriously name.

Connie is nice, as is Willow. Not keen on Joelly, especially with that spelling. How about Joelle or Joella?

Willow is nicer. Joely or Jolie is alright, don't like it spelled Joelly, but much prefer Willow.

I prefer Willow. Not sure how you are pronouncing Joelly but in my mind it reads as Jo-Elly which sounds weird. Like Connie too

Connie over Willow.

Plead avoid Joelly at all costs.

Is Joelly a 'real' name? How do you say it? I would go for Jo-Ellie Hmm

Not keen on Willow either tbh but it is definitely better of the two.

Why not start again and find another name you both like?

"Like Jelly but with an O after the J"

Na. I'm not sure I could face having to explain that to everyone.

I like Connie best, then Willow.

I've never heard of Joelly but I'm not particularly keen & I'm not sure how it would be pronounced either - would it be Jo-Ellie or Joe-ly? (Which sounds a bit too close to jowly to me)

Willow, or Connie if short for Constance.

I was pronouncing Joelly as Jo-Ellie, not Joely. I suspect a lot of people would make that mistake. Joely is much nicer than Joelly but I much prefer Willow or Connie of the two.

I have a Joely (outs self) and absolutely (obviously) love it. She likes it as well and as an almost teen her peers like it too - I was told by her best pal that it was 'cool'. I don't think it's too 'out there' and I think the actress Joely Richardson pulls it off beautifully. Definitely spell it Joely though, the extra L totally changes the pronunciation.

Willow.

I like Willow best. I'm not keen on Joely but that could be due to the fact I'm not familiar with it. Connie is nice but I think I prefer Willow x

I have just called my baby willow!!! the amount of RUDE family members that don't like the name is ridiculous but I love it!!!

Joely bring to mind Joely Richardson to me. It's a bit different but sounds rather French and both cute and sophisticated. Also really like Connie. Willow is lovely too. The only thing that would bother me slightly with names such as Willow, Grace, Patience, is of the name not matching the child. Like if they were totally ungraceful or unwillowy. But that's probably just me though. I love all your choices.

Joely (one L) is really nice imo. Sounds sophisticated and unusual without being bonkers. The other options are good too though.

Willow is just beautiful.

Willow sounds insipid

I wanted to be called Joely as a little girl

Joely Richardson is the famous one. It's unusual and not unpleasant. Willow is very popular just now. Connie is beautiful.
