What are your children's names and why did you pick that name?

I have Oscar James and Violet Nafia

Oscar we picked as it wasn't popular at that time, so many of them around now which is a tad annoying! James was a family name we picked just because it went with it

Violet I loved forever and was so pleased I got to use it with my daughter, Nafia is a family name on my husbands Turkish side

I saw a post like this a while back and they got slaughtered for having a post asking this... I don't see a massive issue with it? I only have a daughter and she is less than a week old and still deciding :)

My Dd is Elodie Grace. Chose Elodie because I liked it and didn't think it was very common/ popular, although have since found out it is rising in popularity and maybe a bit 'trendy.' Grave chosen because I am a big Jeff Buckley fan and also I think it sounded nice.

DS is Reuben George. Reuben I have loved for years, almost didn't use it as I think it is also becoming a bit popular but in the end I just had to go with the name I loved. George is a family name on DP's side.

DDs name is Alexis which I picked because I liked the nn Alex but don't like Alexandra... DP liked it so we went with it... She also has two middle names which are family names
I don't see why people get so upset, if you don't want to share then don't, as displayed by me not sharing middle names

DS is James Franklin
DD is Jennifer Sidney

Their first names are after grandparents on my side of the family and their middle names are after their paternal grandfathers
