I love Leah (though biased because that is my DD's name!)

The only other name I would use from that list is Cara.

Cara -- prefer Clara by a long shot, or Carly. I think Cara is very insipid.
Cherry -- very dated
Lana -- dated (Lana Turner). Lena is very nice however, imo.
Lara -- even though this has been vetoed, it's my favourite name from your list.
Leah -- very nice
Tamara -- very nice
Naomi -- lovely
Ilana -- very nice, very New York.
Jessica -- very nice
Ruby -- too commonplace
Pippa -- Philippa is nice, with Pippa as a NN
Sadie -- I would use Sarah as the official name, with Sadie as the NN

I think my favourites would be Lara, Jessica and Naomi (along with Clara and Carly which are not on your list.)
